Target species: cattle. Indications: bacterial respiratory infections, foot rot, post parturition -metritis. For detailed information: see package insert. Administration/dosage: 1 mg/kg BW/day (1 ml/50 kg BW) for 3 to 5 days by subcutaneous injection. Each injection must be given at separate sites. Withdrawal time: milk 0 days, meat 8 days. Contra-indications: do not administer to animals previously found to be hypersensitive to ceftiofur or other beta-lactam antibiotics. Do not inject intravenously. Storage: below 30°C and protect from light. Shelf-life after first broaching of the container: store at 2-8°C and use within 28 days. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
