GENTA 50 Formula: Gentamicin sulfate 50 000 IU/ml equivalent to gentamicin base 50 mg/ml - Excipients up to 1 ml. Indications: Respiratory tract infections, gastrointestinal infections, urogenital tract infections, skin- and wounds, septicaemia, arthritis, omphalitis, otitis and tonsilitis in dogs. Target animals: Horses, dog and cat. Dosage & administration: By I.M., S.C. or slow I.V. injection: 2,5-5 mg gentamicin/kg b.w., twice daily with 12 hrs intervals, or once daily for maintenance. Horses: 5-10 ml/100 kg b.w. Dogs, cats: 0,5 ml/5 kg b.w. for 4-7 days. Warning and precaution: Do not use for animals producing milk for human consumption. Store below 25°C and protected from light. Keep out of reach of children
