Protect from light. 8 ll9 3 5020 3 73 5 1 8 FOR VETERINARY USE ONLYINDICATIONS: A potent type of diuretic for parenteral administration to cattle, horses, cats and dogs. Furovet is indicated in the treatment of oedema associated with cardiac insufficiency, renal dysfunction, trauma and parasitic disease. It is also recommended for the treatment of mammary oedema and limb oedema. The product gives rapid onset of diuretic action with increased sodium and water excretion. It is even effective where glomerular filtration is impaired. DOSAGE: Horses: IV, 1-2 ml/100 kg bw, 1-2 times/ day at intervals of 6-8 hours. Cattle : IV, 1-2 ml/100 kg bw, At intervals of 12-14 hours. Dogs, cats: IM/IV, 0.25-0.5 ml/5 kg bw. First dose 5 mg/kg reduced to 1-2 mg/kg for maintenance at 6-8 hours intervals. Withdrawal periods Animals must not be slaughtered for human consumption during treatment. Cattle: 28 days from last treatment. Milk withdrawal period: 24 hours
