IVOMEC® Super Injection given at 1 m/50 kg liveweight provides effective treatment and control of the following parasites: Gastrointestinal roundworms, Lungworms, Liver Fluke, Skinworms, Eyeworms, Cattle Grubs, Mange Mites, Sucking Lice, Screw Worm Fly , Sand Tampans, Ticks IVOMEC Super Injection may also be used as an aid in control of biting lice (Damalinia bovis), the mange mite Chorioptes bovis and the tropical cattle tick Boophilus decoloratus. IVOMEC Super Injection given at the recommended dosage of 1 ml per 50 kg liveweight effectively controls infections with Haemonchus placei and Cooperia spp. acquired during the first 14 days after treatment, Ostertagia ostertagi and Oesophagostomum radiatum during the first 21 days after treatment, and Dictyocaulus viviparus during the first 28 days after treatment. Sheep - IVOMEC Super Injection given at 0.5 ml/25 kg liveweight provides effective treatment and control for the following parasites of sheep: Gastrointestinal roundworms, Lungworms, Liver Fluke, Nasal Bot, Mites A single injection will markedly reduce the numbers of P.ovis and frequently lead to resolution of clinical signs of scab. Under certain circumstances, two injections 7 days apart may be required to eliminate all scab mites. PRECAUTIONS Cattle and sheep must not be treated within 28 days of slaughter for human consumption. Cattle and sheep producing milk for human consumption should not be treated during lactation or within 28 days of the commencement of lactation. This product is not to be used intravenously or intramuscularly. Adequate vaccination against clostridial infections is strongly recommended. IVOMEC Super Injection should be given only by subcutaneous injection at the approved dose rate of 1 ml ivermectin per 50kg liveweight. This provides dose levels of 200 pg ivermectin per kilogram liveweight and 2 mg clorsulon per kilogram liveweight. Check accuracy of injection guns regularly. SHEEP DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION Choose dose according to weight of the heaviest sheep in the flock. IVOMEC Super Injection is only to be given by subcutaneous injection, not into the muscle, at the approved dose of 0.5 ml per 25 kg liveweight. This provides a dose level of 200 µg ivermectin per kilogram liveweight and 2 mg clorsulon per kilogram liveweight. The solution may be given with any standard automatic or single dose equipment. Use aseptic technique. Inject IVOMEC Super under loose skin in a convenient location, for example, high on the neck behind the ear, in the axilla or behind the shoulder.
